Shiela's Sunny Sunday Hot Ride. 15/07/18 – Phew

As record temperatures peaked in Hull to 30.4 deg, the hottest day of the year so far, ten riders sat in Burton Agnes Gardens enjoying the Jazz Festive over lunch. We'd journeyed East from CG in beautiful wall to wall sun which stayed with us all day.
Coffee at Warley Cross was a welcome rest. From here Group Two continued to the pub at Harpham for lunch, while our group kept to the quiet roads by North Frodingham, Kelk and lunch at Burton Agnes.

For the homeward journey, I used the cycle route to Nafferton and Cranswick, being mostly flat, the sun was already affecting some of our group by now! Again a welcome stop in Etton for a quick pint at the pub. Arriving home to see most of the World Cub, Tennis or Cycling. Approx. 70 miles

A pleasant ride in good company and excellent weather, I'm not going to say too hot, we had too many cancelled Sundays earlier in the year! For most of the M group ride we were accompanied by new riders Natalie and Edward, young visitors from Finland.

Thanks Sheila for the words.
