90th Anniversary Celebration Rides/Reunion Day – 5th July 2015

Update from Admin 27/6: see here for downloadable route sheets and .gpx files for our anniversary rides.

Limited places still available. Contact Sheila (01482 857774 – Sheila@jsampson.karoo.co.uk) to enter.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are changing the date of the 90th Anniversary Rides, it is now the week before, Sunday 5th July 2015. The headquarters are Hessle Rugby Sports Club, Livingstone Road, Hessle, HU13 0EG.

The three Standard Rides will start from 8.30am onwards.

All three of the Anniversary Rides go over the Humber Bridge.

The rides are still the same 90 mile, 90 kilometre or 35 mile routes and all rides go over the Humber Bridge.

Free to CTC members, non-members £5.00, Under 14s £2.00.

Please email Sheila@jsampson.karoo.co.uk/tel 01482 857774 by the 25th June if you want to take part and fill in the entry form.

If you don't want to ride in this event you could help us from 1.30 – 4.00 pm to meet old friends or make new ones. A buffet will be served and there will be a running slide show, tombola, and display of old and new photography and memorabilia. For catering I also need to know by 25th June if you're only coming to the afternoon session.

If anyone can help on the day with the catering or make some buns beforehand it would be appreciated. I also need volunteers to man the tombola and lastly, the rides will be set off in groups and leaders are needed.

Thanks, Sheila.

Thanks, Diane. We're just waiting on the okay from someone who has checked the routes for all three rides and then we'll show the maps in a different post.

Hope to see you on the 35 mile route 🙂

Cheers for everything last Sunday, Sheila. It can't have been easy to rearrange things after having to change the date for reasons outside your control. Sorry I couldn't stay long after only managing the 35-mile route. Well done – Chris.
