Maurice reaches 90 years on Wednesday 20th May.
Maurice has been a lifelong cyclist, joining the CTC in the early 1970’s.
He was a regular ride leader and became a long serving committee member partaking in and organising many events.
Maurice was Leader of the Veterans 100 miles in 12 hours for many years. He participated in the Tri-Annual Vets events held in many parts of the country, with many bars added to his badge.
He organised the much loved Christmas ride out lunch which was held at Little Driffield, for about 25 years.
He has been a very keen cycle camper and YHA member for many years.
Cycling was a big part of his life as well as being a turnstile operator for Hull City for 30 years.
You couldn’t wish to meet a nicer guy & its great to see him still attending our social events.
Happy 90th Birthday Maurice from us all at the East Yorkshire CTC.
See you soon.
