Louth holiday – Great success.

David Cowwod’s trip to Louth turned out well.

We were exceptionally lucky with the weather for early March, with lovely sunny days & warm temperatures.

15 of us set off for Louth, calling in at the Wolds caravan park cafe for lunch & then on to Louth. It wasn’t one of our easiest rides with a head wind at times, 46 mile ride & a elevation gain of 3,230 feet. I think we were all pleased to reach the Priory hotel in Louth.

After a good nights rest & breakfast, it was off again for the ride home.

Fortunately, the ride home on a different route was easier, but still 47 miles & 1,800 feet elevation gain. The weather could not have been better.

Big thanks to Dave Cowood for all his arrangements.
