Thirteen of us set off from the Humber bridge car park at 9am, on a warm but grey Thursday morning for the 66 mile ride around the river Humber.
First stop was the Flixborough cafe for coffee & a good breakfast. Then through Gunness and over the Keadby bridge and heading north beside the river Trent.
There had been a head wind on the ride to Keadby, but we now enjoyed a tail wind, through Amcotts up to Adlingfleet, Then west beside the river Ouse to Whitgift for a short break.
Through the main street in Goole, (when we found the underpass) and lunch in the West Park.
Steady ride back the the HBCP for 5pm.
