The Salvation Army does cycle repairs, rebuilds bikes, sells essential parts and also sells bikes. my name is Peter Hobson, I work as the bicycle mechanic in the Hull Salvation Army Donation Centre in Reed Street off Freetown way, Hull, HU2 8JJ, it is on the site where the old DFS carpet shop was. Within the centre we have a cycle department. If you have a bicycle that you no longer have any use for or parts that are crowding your shed or garage, please consider passing and donating them to the Salvation Army. In turn our mechanic will repair them, rebuild the bikes and give them a new lease of life. The Recycles scheme in our donation centres gives an opportunity for someone who may be retired, a Key Worker, unemployed or simply have an interest in bikes, to work, get to work easier, find employment, exercise and gain skills and have the opportunity to teach and pass on those skills to help others.
Bikes sold bring in money to the charity that enables the Salvation Army to continue its good work with in the community.
I thank you in advance for your time and look forward to your reply.
