TJ's Coffee Shop - Cyclists Welcome

TJ's Coffee Shop, Cranswick Garden Centre "Cyclists Welcome"

Located just off the A164 at Hutton Cranswick Garden Centre (Grid Ref TA020523), TJ's is one of a new breed of cafes actively attracting and welcoming cyclists as it lies directly on the route of the 'Way of the Roses' coast to coast cycle route.

Following a recent refurb there is a cycle rack outside and on entering the cafe there is a giant display depicting the route of the 'Way of the Roses'. But for most cyclists the main purpose to visit will be for rest and nourishment and they will not be disappointed. In addition to the usual tea and coffees there is a good selection of homemade cakes and a variety of hot meals. The all-day breakfast should come with a health warning. Depending on the weather and time of year the cyclist has the option of lazing at outside tables or huddling round the massive solid fuel stove in the centre of the cafe. Leaving can be a real wrench.
