Tues 8th July – Overnight ferry to Europoort. Remember to book your cycles on the ferry – You need to do this by telephone if you are sharing a cabin.

Wed 9th July – Europoort terminal – Noordwijk 65kms (40 miles)
It takes us from Europoort, in a northerly direction along the coast, past Den Haag & Katwijk to Noordwijk, fairly close to the coast most of the time.

Thursday 10th July –Noordwijk – Hoorn 82km (50 miles). (Longest ride of the week) !
Hoorn – Enkhuizen 25 km (15 miles)
The Houtribdijk 25 kms (15 miles). Houtribdijk link
Lelystad – Almere 28 km (17 miles).
Total days mileage = 47 miles.
Hotel = Phil & Nige have booked – ibis Styles Almere, Televisieweg 2, 1322 AC Almere, Netherlands (2 nights).

Sat 12th July – Rest day – There is a good train service from Almere to Amsterdam central station which takes about 30 mins & costs about £12 return if you want to spend the day there.
For anyone wanting to cycle today I’m sure we can find some local routes.

Heading in a southerly & then westerly direction past Gorinchem, to Dordrecht,
