Tues 8th July – Overnight ferry to Europoort. Remember to book your cycles on the ferry – You need to do this by telephone if you are sharing a cabin.
The hotels we have booked on Booking.com all have free cancellation until close to the arrival date
Wed 9th July – Europoort terminal – Noordwijk 72km (45 miles)
It takes us from Europoort, in a northerly direction along the coast, past Den Haag & Katwijk to Noordwijk, fairly close to the coast most of the time.

Fri 11th July – Hoorn – Almere (via Enkhuizen & Lelystad)
Hoorn – Enkhuizen 20km (12 miles)
I’m looking at options for getting across the Ijsselmere from Enkhuizen to Lelystad
1- There is the Houtribdijk (N307) you can cycle along 30 kms (18 miles). Houtribdijk link
2. There is a bus (Number 650- takes 30 mins), I’m checking times & if they carry cycles.
Lelystad – Almere 25km (15 miles).
(If you cycle across Houtribdyke the days mileage would be 12 + 18 + 15 = 45 miles).

Sat 12th July – Rest day – There is a good train service from Almere to Amsterdam central station which takes about 30 mins & costs about £12 return if you want to spend the day there.
For anyone wanting to cycle today I’m sure we can find some local routes.

Sun 13th July – Almere – Nieuwegein. 60km (40 miles).
Heading southerly toward Utrecht
Hotel = Phil & Nige booked into – Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Nieuwegein-Utrecht, Buizerdlaan 10, 3435 SB Nieuwegein, Netherlands
Mon 14th July -Nieuwegein – Dortdrecht 58 kms (36miles)
Heading in a southerly & then westerly direction past Gorinchem, to Dordrecht, (some of the route we did in 2024). Staying at the same hotel.
Hotel – Phil & Nige booked into – Stayokay Dordrecht – Baanhoekweg 25, Dordrecht, 3313 LA
Tues 15th July – Dortdrecht – Europoort 73 km (45 miles).
Same route as 2024 to Europoort.
Overnight ferry back to Hull. (Back in Hull on Weds morning 16th July).
